I have always been a fan of McQueen's fashion. He was founded by designer McQueen in 1992, in which McQueen is his middle name as that is what he used for his label. He was awarded British designer of the year four times between 1996 and 2003. Sarah Burton, McQueen's right hand design aide does not just make clothes, she comes up with the most unique & creative designs. She also designed the dress for Catherine Middleton during her wedding to Prince William. Here are some pretty amazing fall/winter 2012 collections! And if you love runway shows like I do, don't forget to watch the video.

Kirstie Alley On The Catwalk for Spring Fashion Week 2012
The 'once again' newly svelte 60 year old Kirstie Alley donned the catwalk yesterday in New York city for Malaysian designer Zang Toi during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Studio at Lincoln Center. Toi left Malaysia at the age of 18 to pursue his passion for creating couture, landing in Toronto first and then settling down in New York where he went to design school. His modernistic styles seem to be infused with hints of the far east. I totally appreciate diversity where haute couture is concerned but seriously don't know that I'm feeling a vibe on what Alley wore for his show maybe due to the fact that in my opinion, the piece does not scream "SPRING!!!" but rather seems to be saying, "Look at me, I'm a Disney Princess!". Kirstie looks fab regardless and major kudos to the beyond middle aged mama for slimming down. I think this is a much better approach on her part in comparison to the stint she pulled five years ago on Oprah when she set herself up for public scrutiny by wearing a bikini after dropping a few lbs!

Runway GaGa
Pop Icon, activist and now runway model for Thierry Mugler at the Paris Fashion Week 2011? What a perfect show for GaGa to make her debut and an even more perfect fit being that Mugler is known for his shows being a spectator sport. He intertwines fashion with a performance art vibe each setting being extraordinary in its own right.
Of course GaGa performed her new hit 'Born This Way' gyrating amongst the
models on the catwalk and made it one of the most memorable events of the evening I'm sure!
To get an idea of Thierry Mugler's design styles he fashioned the avant garde 'vintage inspired' costumes worn by Lady GaGa and Beyonce in the music video for 'Telephone'.
Mugler incorporates the least likeliest of fabric mediums into his designs: leather, metal and vinyl but nothing tops the meat dress GaGa wore designed by Franc Fernandez! Whether you love her or hate her on her end it's 'mission accomplished' because either way she's always giving us something to talk about!
